Tarihçe
The Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Biruni was established by the Rectorate of Biruni University, which was established under 156. additional clause of the Law on Organization of Higher Education Institutions dated 28/3/1983 and numbered 2809. The opening decision was published on 27/2/2014 with the official newspaper numbered 28926. In our faculty, the curriculum is organized in accordance with the National Core Education Program (ECZCEP) and the current requirements of the Council of Higher Education (YOK). In addition, in cooperation with our students, trainers, administrative staff, industry consultants and solution partners, we also organize scientific meetings and events, seminars and in-house trainings that will strengthen the curriculum and make a difference. support is provided in the field.
The pharmacy vocational training program is 5 years. In the first two years of the education, students take vocational courses developing their professional skills as well as basic courses. Students who have entered basic vocational courses from the 3rd grade have the opportunity to develop their practical and practical experience with experienced faculty members. Clinical pharmacy practices in 4th and 5th grades; Classes of vocational courses and applications are blended. All courses and practices in the Faculty of Pharmacy Program were planned as an independent course, put into a program and ECTS values were determined according to the European Credit Transfer and Collection System. Turkey has become integrated into the first Biruni University Faculty of Pharmacy in first and second grades in English course other lessons to meet the needs of the part of the school program and thus is aimed to gain higher skills in a language without losing year our students.
In addition to clinical pharmacy practices, our students are given new information on current and new topics. In the course of radiopharmacy, information about subatomic particles, modern pharmaceutical systems and nanotechnology are given. Products such as various cosmetic products, creams, shampoos, tablets and various controlled release systems are made to the students in a lot of studies. In addition, some special products such as microemulsion and quatum points are made by students in practical studies. Synthesis of various molecules, structure-effect relationship pharmacokinetic approaches are taught. Some differentiation techniques, plant products and pharmaceutical botanical students are among the practical applications.
In our faculty who is member of Biruni University of who is one of Turkey's leading health universities, numerous interdisciplinary research activities are carried out. After graduation, doctoral education is given as an important training center and continuous vocational training activities are organized which allow Pharmacists to be successful in their professional lives by renewing their postgraduate information. Our faculty, which is in cooperation with the world's leading universities, has the opportunity to participate in a large number of overseas studies that students and academic staff can benefit from.

In order to be eligible for this program, it is necessary to have completed Turkish Secondary Education or an equivalent education abroad and have received sufficient points in the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). |
A total of five-year and 300 ECTS compulsory and elective theoretical courses and practical applications must be completed successfully and the grade point average must be at least 50 out of 100. A total of 30 ECTS credits must be taken in each semester. In practical applications, the student has to complete and deliver a fixed number of jobs each year at a given time. In order for a student to graduate from the program he / she is pursuing, he / she must have successfully completed all the courses and other responsibilities of the program and have a weighted grade point average (AGNO) of at least 2.00. Students who can not provide 2.00 AGNO required for graduation with no failed courses will be given a grading exam for only one course of their own choice in the courses they have taken in the month following the decision of the relevant board and the makeup examinations. Note that the student who can not make AGNO 2.00 as a result of the exams will have to repeat the course in the following semester. Students who have not completed their compulsory internship can not graduate until their internship is completed and have to renew their registration for each registration period. Students who has an AGNO between 3.00 and 3.49 are given honor and students with a grade of 3.50 or higher receive a high honorary certificate.

Ölçme ve Değerlendirme
The exams are consists of mid-term exams, final exams and make-up exams in the Faculty of Pharmacy. The success of a course is determined by the course grade. A course rating of at least 50 (out of 100) is considered successful in that course. Course grade is obtained by evaluating of the student's success performed in the semester (mid-term exams, assignments, practical work, etc.) and final exam together. According to regulations of undergraduate program of Biruni University, impact of final exam on course achievement score (or course grade) can be at least 40%, at most 60%.
